The Lake House is a beautiful restaurant located on Lake Bonavista. The large space can accommodate up to 250 people. The venue has packages for weddings over 35 people and under 35 people, so you can choose how intimate you want your event to be.
The room has a 130 sq. ft. glass-walled wine cellar, a large fireplace, chandeliers, and a 21-foot long bar originally built in the 1800s. The room has many rustic features, but it maintains its elegance and charm.
This space includes an outdoor patio overlooking the lake. This can be the perfect place to catch a moment alone with your partner for wedding photos, or it can provide an extra place for your guests to socialize and get some fresh air.

Whether you want a sit-down meal or unique stations and platters, The Lake House has an option you will like. Be sure to pair these delicious foods with some equally delicious wine from their collection.
Plated Dinners
You can choose up to two entrees for your wedding dinner. With choices from Red Spring Salmon Filet to Wild Boar Chop to Grilled Bison Tenderloin, it is hard to go wrong. The restaurant prides itself on using seasonal ingredients and capturing the spirit of Calgary with its menu.
For dessert, you can choose one dessert from the following choices: Vanilla Creme Brulee, Baked Apple Tart, Mixed Berry Shortcake, Molten Chocolate Cake, and White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake.
There are a variety of soups and salads for you and your partner to choose from as well.
Platters and Stations
The Late Night Stations are a fun and inventive way to feed your guests at your wedding.
