To our surprise and delight, a black bear ran across the open meadow and made sure to mark Emily and Jon's wedding as a memorable day. Once the bear ran off high into the mountains, the ceremony began. After the ceremony, a fantastic picnic was shared with family and close friends. Once the picnic ended, we drove to a trailhead close to Canmore or an hour from Calgary to start our hiking adventure. Hiking is a huge part of Emily and Jon's life, and given that I specialize in hiking elopement adventure, I was thrilled when they asked me when we first met up, and we were able to include hiking on their wedding day.
